Anne Cameron has been a psychotherapist in private practice in Orange County, California since 2005. Her practice focuses on helping people heal from conditions such as depression and anxiety disorders, including phobias, panic disorder, PTSD, OCD, and generalized anxiety. She also helps clients heal relationships, whether it be the relationship with oneself or with someone else. Ms. Cameron sees individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families in her practice in Fullerton, CA.
In addition, Ms. Cameron provides clinical supervision at The LGBT Center Orange County for interns who are completing their clinical hours toward licensure in psychotherapy. Anne has worked within the LGBT community for many years as a clinician, assisting clients with issues of coming out, working through relationship difficulties, exploring gender identity and sexual orientation, and helping people find relief from symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Anne received her Master’s degree and training from National University. Her approach is strength-based and respectful, encouraging her clients to be patient and present with themselves and includes traditional insight-oriented talk therapy, relaxation techniques, psycho-education, humor, cognitive-behavioral techniques and exploration of family-of-origin relationships, as well as exploration of current relationship patterns.
