About The Author:
Myrto holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Panteion Social and Political Sciences, University of Athens (Greece) and a Master’s Degree in Human Learning & Performance from Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands). She is currently a Ph.D. student at Early Start Research Institute, University of Wollongong, Australia.
Myrto’s current work focuses on enhancing preschool children’s learning by integrating physical activities with learning materials. She specializes in designing interventions that combine movements in an educational way in order to reduce children’s cognitive load and foster transfer of learning in several subjects such as learning foreign language words, and math.
