About The Author:

Peter Bippus is a graduate student procuring a masters degree at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education & Psychology.

Bippus has worked with Los Angeles County Corrections as part of an organization designed to reduce inmate reticence rates by coaching ways to combat impulsive behavior. He also spent a year in supervision at the Center in Orange County providing support to those affected with infectious disease, external and internalized homophobia, residual complications due to childhood trauma as well as advocation of transgendered populations.

His research interests lie primarily within the LGBT realm; specifically, on the priming effects of monopolized heterosexualism and its adulteration of homosexual perspectives on relationships, self worth and self portrayal.
